Otolith was established at the time of Philadelphia through Bella Bossard and is currently mother to two kids with ages of 3 and 1 Bossard. The name of the company is a loving reference to her deep fish biology knowledge and her husband's long connection to the industry of seafood, often keeping them apart for 5 months or longer as they work towards economic and environmental objectives that are a reflection of their individuality and commitment to their community wherever they call home. Bossard as well as Isabella and Andre (ages 10 and 12 respectively) are back each year, starting in July 2016 and continue to Southeast Alaska for the summer catch of wild salmon. Following two years of fishing using hooks as well as lines, and a 42-foot salmon trolling machine they joined Aritan and then sold local processors of seafood.
